Get growing Breightmet 14th June

Rain once again to start the morning, and lots of it for the last few days in not so sunny Bolton. It is always hard to determine just how long it is going to rain for, but I took my chances and made my way up to Breightmet armed with a raft of gardening resources. Today was all about planting on loads of courgette and tomato plants which will make their way into the gardens of our growers next Tuesday.  I also planted up a few tomato plants into the the raised bed of the Yarden and in the process evicted some slugs and snails that thought they were suitably hidden from view.
