Get growing Breightmet 8th September

I arrived at the Hub site just after eight this morning just to check that all the plants were ok before walking up to the UCAN centre. The best part of the morning was spent visiting growers and asking if they wanted to grow winter crops, whilst taking pictures of existing ones that were still growing. In the afternoon we sowed more winter veg seeds. I pulled away from the site for a meeting with Neighbourhood Manager Tony and Community development worker Carl, a great meeting as always. After the meeting I caught up with Tony and briefly videoed him on the wild-flower meadow that has transformed a Breightmet Road, here is the video of Tony and one of the ever growing meadows on the Breightmet estate.
