Willow Hey project: Spring!

Another lovely day today, what a pleasure it was walking the 5 minute journey from home to the Willow Hay site on the Franworth border. the birds were singing, buds bursting though tired winter branches and secondary school kids laughing and playing on there way to school. And because of this lovely weather we managed to get a lot work done today, we planted around a hundred and fifty onions, piled up branches and twigs for our wildlife habitat, did some more paining on the inside of one of the old school greenhouses, took a large conifer down and made a living willow arch and fence. Big up team Willow Hey

Whilst todays various jobs and tasks were being carried, you could only see smiles on peoples faces, for us, the spring is now here and we can all fully awaken to the task ahead of helping to feed those who are unable to feed theirselves, and helping to get people on the local estates growing their own food, much respect to the team today for the cheerful approach and hard work, onwards and upwards!
